Away Form Must Improve
You can't just rely on points won at home if you want to climb the table.
Adrian Mrowiec wants Hearts to buck up their ideas or else they will be still waiting for an away win at the end of the season. After losing out on penalties in the League Cup to Ayr at Somerset Park, Hearts put up limp display as St Johnstone ran out comfortable 2-0 winners on Sunday. Manager Paulo Sergio pointed to defensive errors for the loss after Cillian Sheridan twice ran onto through balls from Francisco Sandaza to score in each half, but his team offered little in attack throughout the game. The records show that Hearts have gone 15 games without a win away from home in a run stretching back to a 2-0 victory over Hamilton in February. Sunday sees Hearts at home to face Celtic but Mrowiec knows they have to look to improve their away form in the long run if they hope to make something of their season. He said: "It was very disappointing, a very, very bad result. We have to do something. We have to maybe change something, we can't play like Sunday. We play an important game against Celtic and we'll do everything to win the game but I know it's very hard for us. It's very important when you play against small teams like St Johnstone, you have to win this game. I don't know how to say how we played, everyone played really badly. It was a terrible week because we lost against Ayr United and St Johnstone. We go back to Tynecastle and I hope we win but we have to think about how we win away because we can't keep playing like this."
