No time to relax for Montrose as they prepare for the 2013-14 season.

The end of the playing season means that the start of the signing season and Montrose have made their move to get their first signing in place. Ricky McIntosh had been on loan from St Johnstone last season and won the Third Division Young Player of the Year Award while with the Gable Endies. Montrose manager Stuart Garden moved quickly to get the deal done with McIntosh after he was released by the Perth side.Garden said: "Ricky played in more than 30 games for us last season and did really well. When I knew that he was not being kept on at McDiarmid I moved to bring him here and I delighted he agreed to come."
