Good form brings unwanted interest

Terry Butcher may want to switch his phone off next month to hang onto his prize asset, Billy McKay. Leicester and Nottingham Forest are both understood to be tracking the Inverness goal machine who has been a revelation since arriving on a free transfer from Northampton in the summer. McKay scored his 17th and 18th goals of the season in Saturday's 4-1 demolition of the SPL's bottom club Dundee, to make it 12 goals in his last seven games. McKay's performances have attracted interest from a number of clubs south of the border and Leicester and Forest are thought to have been represented at Saturday's game. They may want to test Inverness' resolve to hang onto their star striker during the transfer window.
