Asda Know All About Promotion
Asda know how to get people through their doors with low prices. They have applied the same principle in backing Airdrie today.
Asda have stepped in to give young fans the chance to see the crunch Second Division promotion clash between Airdrie and East Fife free of charge this afternoon. This is the Diamonds last scheduled home game of the season, and the two sides are level on 48 points with Stenhousemuir. All to play for which will give under-16 year olds, who will be admitted for nothing as part of a ‘Kids Go Free’ day at the stadium, a chance to see two promotion chasing sides. Airdrie chairman Jim Ballantyne said: "I would like to thank ASDA for their support and the timing could not be better as this game is massive for both teams. It would be great to see as many fans as possible turn out and back Jimmy Boyle’s side. The players have done very well in the past two months and deserve a lot of support."
