Always Worth Getting A Second Opinion

No early end to the season for Salim Kouldwe-Aissa.

Stenhousemuir’s recent recruit from Motherwell, striker Salim Kouider-Aissa, was plastered on Thursday night but passed fit for action the next day.  Kouider-Aissa was injured in training last Thursday night with what was said to be a broken foot. He was taken to hospital; put in a plastercast and told that his season was over. However, just as the diagnosis was sinking in,  a second opinion in  the morning showed that there was no break and he could be back playing in a fortnight.Ochilview Manager Martyn Corrigan said: "It was a strange period for the lad as he was obviously really down at getting told that he had a break and was then delighted to be told he could be back pretty soon. He is a raw talent and it would be good to get him some more game time between now and the end of the season."
