Steven Fletcher's return to the Scotland squad is welcomed by the players

There will be no friction in the Scotland dressing room with Steven Fletcher's return to the squad according to Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam. Scotland manager Craig Levein and the the on-form Sunderland forward have made their peace with each other ahead of Friday's crucial World Cup qualifier against Wales. Fletcher has not been selected for any national squad since texting the SFA he did not wish to be selected for a fixture against Northern Ireland in February 2011. Adam believes that everyone is pulling in the same direction as they look to get their qualification campaign back on track. Adam said: "You want your best players available. He is one of our best players and it is good to see him back involved. What happened has happened, it's done and dusted. Let's move on. It's up to the manager if he plays but for us, it's good to have him in the squad because he adds to the quality that we already have. Whoever plays up front, as a pair or on their own, they will be trying to do the best for their country. We are all in the same boat - we want to get to Brazil and hopefully the quality that has come into the squad for these two games can enhance our chances."
