Midfielder Chris Aitken is on target to return to the Stranraer first team for their game with promotion rivals Annan on Hogmanay. The former Stirling Albion and Ayr United player broke a bone in his foot in a Scottish Cup tie against Forfar last month. However, he is back in full training after having his plaster removed just before Christmas. Stair Park manager Keith Knox said: "Everything has went exactly to plan in terms of Chris being available again and it would be great to have him in the pool to face Annan. The more options we have for an important game like this one the better."
