Aim For The Moon

Recovering fro injury can be a long a lonely process and it is good to work with people you know. Kevin Moon has vowed to come back to St Johnstone stronger than ever from his cruciate ligament injury. Midfielder Moon has been out since mid-March and had to wait a month for an operation to sort things out. He is expected to return to action sometime in the autumn, though he will have a better idea of a realistic target date when he visits his surgeon in six weeks' time. Meanwhile, Moon has been doing one-on-one sessions with physio Nick Summersgill and has also spent time alongside fellow long-term injury victims Martin Hardie and Peter MacDonald. He said: "It is good to get together with them." Moon went on: "I don't want to put a date on my likely return just now - I'll have a better idea once I have seen the surgeon. In the meantime, I am just working on my fitness - not just around the injury but my upper body strength as well. I want to come back in better all-round shape than I have ever been in."
