Family ties do not come into it when you run a business Arbroath manager Paul Sheerin had a really hard decision to make over the future of his cousin Jordyn Sheerin and long serving full back Kevin McMullen. The bullet had to be bitten and he has released both from the Third Division Championship winning squad. Sheerin said: "Releasing Kevin was one of the hardest decisions I have had to make so far and it was a tough one. He is a bit of a legend at the club and I have also released Jordyn as well after a year with us. Striker David McGowan is also leaving after we made him an offer but he decided not to take it." Sheerin has signed up Keith Gibson, Stuart Malcolm, Kieran McAnespie, Lee Sibanda and Darren Hill from last season’s squad and added Dundee United youngster Jordan Elverson..
