Queen’s Park’s oldest supporter and Honorary President of the club’s Supporters Association, 90-year-old Ivy Riddell, has had the Spider's Annual Player of the Year Trophy named after her. Mrs Riddell recently celebrated her landmark birthday as the guest of the club and she was on hand to hand over the award on Saturday night to midfielder David Anderson who was the fans’ choice for the third year in a row.Supporters club secretary Keith McAllister said: "Ivy has been following Queen’s Park for more than 70 years and the players recently wore t-shirts to mark her birthday. She is a wonderful figure to have supporting our club and naming the award in her honour is a great thing to do."
