A Good Week's Work

No mid-week game for Clyde helps Jim Duffy Jim Duffy has been able to work with his players for a full week this week for the first time since he was appointed manager at Clyde in February. The Bully Wee have been involved in midweek games ever since Duffy arrived, apart from one time when their game at Elgin was called off when they were already on route to Borough Briggs. Duffy said, “It was been an intense run of games and it has left some of the boys with only a little energy left in their tank. The other night we got back from Elgin at 2.30 and then some of the boys had to go onto the likes of Greenock and Largs and then get up for their work. It probably caught up with us against Queen’s Park on Saturday but despite losing 2-0 our performances are much improved and we will tell the players that during training this week."
