Raul agrees Schalke contract

Real Madrid legend Raul has confirmed the new chapter in his career by joining Bundesliga side Schalke as expected.
The 33-year-old striker has agreed a two-year contract with Schalke after officially leaving Madrid earlier in the week.
Raul scored a club record 323 goals in 741 appearances during 16 years in the first team at the Spanish giants. He had been widely expected to join the Gelsenkirchen outfit following talks with coach Felix Magath.
"It's great news for FC Schalke," Magath told his club's official website. "I am pleased that we have succeeded in such an exceptional footballer and world-class striker switching to the Bundesliga for Schalke.
"He will be an inspiration. His qualities will help us.
"His commitment is a crucial step in our efforts to strengthen the squad for future tasks, and to restructure. I look forward to working with this good professional."
