Rafinha vows to stay at Schalke

Wing-back Rafinha has pledged to stay put at Schalke until the end of his current contract in the summer of 2011.

The 24-year-old Brazil international has been linked with a whole host of clubs in recent weeks, but the South American now insists that he is going nowhere.

He told the German media: "My current contract with Schalke runs until 2011 and I'm not planning to leave the club before that.

"I have never spoken with any other clubs, my management handles all contract negotiations for me.

"I only care about football and want to fully focus on the sporting aspect of the game. However, moving abroad in the future is certainly an option for me."
