Rafinha can wait for Italy

The agent of Schalke's Brazilian wing-back Rafinha has opened the door for a move for his client to Italy, but not until next summer.

The highly-rated 24-year-old South American was heavily linked with a move to Juventus in the summer and the Turin club and AC Milan are still rumoured to be interested.

Naor Malaquias told Calciomercato.it: "Juve and Milan? I think they are possibilities, but not now.

"If Schalke become ready to sell him, then we would open up dialogue with other clubs to find a solution. All the while, it's a decision that is down to the club.

"Rafinha to Milan in January? That's not true, the contact with Italian clubs happened in the summer.

"The Italian league would represent a good option, but we have to wait until after the World Cup to speak about his future."
