Schalke have revealed that they are in the dark after Brazilian defender Rafinha failed to report back for training following the end of their winter break.

The 24-year-old full-back looks set to be in more hot water with the Gelsenkirchen side following his previous misdemeanour of defying club orders to play in the 2008 Olympic Games.

Rafinha was also left out of the side earlier in the season by coach Felix Magath following a series of reports linking him with a move to Bayern Munich.

"I have no idea where he is hiding," revealed Magath. "I will first have to find out what has happened."
