Magath welcomes Wolves return

Schalke head coach Felix Magath is relishing the weekend return to his former club Wolfsburg.

Magath guided the Wolves to the Bundesliga crown last season, before opting for a move to Gelsenkirchen, where he is overseeing another title challenge.

"I don't know what kind of a feeling it will be to go back to Wolfsburg as coach of Schalke," Magath said.

"This is the first time I will go back there with another team since winning the title. But at the end of the day, it was my decision to end the chapter of Wolfsburg at the end of last season.

"I still cannot deny that I am looking forward to going back. I had two fantastic years there."
