Engelaar agrees Schalke move

Netherlands international midfielder Orlando Engelaar has agreed a deal to join German club Schalke next season.
The 28-year-old will follow coach Fred Rutten to the Bundesliga from FC Twente, after helping his country try to win the European Championship title this summer.
Engelaar told De Telegraaf: "Fred Rutten has given me the chance to develop myself.
"He picked me up when I had a less productive period at Racing Genk. He told me that I could become a good footballer in the Netherlands in a position behind the striker.
"As a controlling player he saw a bigger, more international future for me. It took a little time to get used to, but I realised that he could be right."
Engelaar made his international debut for the Dutch just under a year ago and has quickly established himself as a valuable member of Marco van Basten's squad.
