Samp hopeful over key trio

Sampdoria director Giuseppe Marotta claims there is an 80 per cent chance of the club's star players remaining at the Luigi Ferraris in the summer.

Key trio Antonio Cassano, Giampaolo Pazzini and Angelo Palombo have all been linked with potential moves at the end of the season.

Cassano in particular is believed to be attracting the interest of several leading Italian clubs after rebuilding his career this season with Samp.

However, Marotta is hopeful that all three will remain at the Genoa club.

"Cassano, Palombo, Pazzini? There is an 80 per cent chance that all three will remain at Sampdoria," he said.
