Antonio Cassano will still be a Sampdoria player next season, according to the player's agent.

Giuseppe Bozzo insists the midfielder will spurn the chance to move to Internazionale and Juventus over the summer and remain with Samp.

He said: "I think Antonio will remain in Genoa for another year.

"There has been plenty of interest in him, but we are thinking about ending the season well, and there is also a Coppa Italia final to dispute.

"We have not been called by Inter. Changing just for the sake of it will not help anyone. He is happy at Sampdoria and he has found the tranquility he was looking for."
