Mazzarri confims Samp exit

Sampdoria coach Walter Mazzarri has confirmed that he has left the club following the end of the Serie A season.

The 47-year-old had been in charge of Samp for two seasons, having made his name during spells with Livorno and Reggina.

Mazzarri said after the 2-2 draw at Palermo: "Today I concluded my relationship with Sampdoria by mutual consent.

"Tomorrow the matter will be made official with a press release from the club and from that moment I will start deciding on my future.

"The decision was made in full unity with the club."
