Midfielder Gary Mills has left Rushden & Diamonds after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
The 24-year-old made 124 league appearances for the Diamonds after progressing from the Nene Park youth system and was the club's longest serving player.
However, Mills played just 11 league games this term, the last of which was as a late substitute in the 1-0 win against Notts County in February.
Meanwhile, defender Phil Gulliver is set to return to the side against Wycombe on Saturday after sitting out the midweek defeat at Shrewsbury with a hamstring problem.
