Woggy aiming to keep number 1 jersey
Millers keeper Andy Warrington is aiming for a decent run in the team after Scott Shearers injury.
Warrington has played in the last 2 victories after Shearer was ruled out for 6 or 7 weeks, and the veteran stopper is hoping to cement his place despite Steve Evans searching for a loan back up.
“It is good to be involved. You want to play games,” Warro told the Advertiser.
“You've got to grab your chance when it comes but I feel really, really sorry for Scott because I think he has been playing really well.
“I'll just try and take my chance and we'll stick together. I know it's a cliché, but I'll take it game by game.
“I've gone on record as saying Scott has been fantastic since he has been here and we have a really good working relationship. In fact I have with all the keepers that have been at the club whether I have been playing or not.
“We bounce off each other and get the best out of each other and we work for the same goal and whoever is playing the other one is behind him. That's no different now.”
