Wind farm plans to be displayed

Six wind turbines could be installed on land in Rotherham under plans for a wind farm development.Banks Development wants to build the 433ft (132m) turbines at Penny Hill between Ulley and Thurcroft. A series of exhibitions will be held in the town on 14 and 15 July to allow residents to view the proposals. The company said if plans were approved communities around the site would benefit from schemes introduced to help tackle fuel poverty. The exhibitions will be held at Ulley Village Hall.... read more
