Ticket increase is fair - Douglas

The Millers announced an increase in ticket prices this week, Paul Douglas tells the Advertiser that the increases are fair.
On the day prices have gone up £2 while the maximum season ticket price in the west stand for non-renewals now stands at £410.
The Millers chief operating officer Paul Douglas tells the 'Tiser that the prices are fair for League 1 football and reminds fans that the Direct Debit option will be running again.
“We have looked at the prices in League One and made sure we were not going to be expensive. At the same time, it is a more expensive division to operate in from the point of view of players we are going to bring in and the players who are here now." Paul said.
“The increase is not unexpected but we are also conscious not to price people out of coming here. We have had a great season, with new faces along to games, and we don't want to stop that."
“With pricing, there are always comparisons to be drawn with other areas of entertainment and higher levels of football but we looked at the data regarding League One clubs and wanted to be in the fair bracket.” he added.
