Scott to be patient on striker search

Published: 03 Feb 2012 - 11:21:09

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, boss Andy Scott say''s he''ll wait to bring in the right man.

After being knocked back on siging 2 strikers last week, one of them being Karl Hawley who joined Crawley on loan, Scotty says he''s hoping to have a new striker in next week.

"We nearly got there, the priority was to bring somebody in permanently because we knew that the emergence loan window reopens next week and more players become available because of the option that teams have of recalling players."

"It didnt quite happen for us but I''d rather go for the ones that we need and wanted than bringing somebody in who wasn''t going to have the impact that we need." he told Radio Sheffield
