Scott hopeful game will go ahead

Published: 02 Feb 2012 - 16:02:03

Andy Scott says the ground staff are doing all they can to get Saturdays game with Torquay on.

With minus temperatures continuing and the Torquay squad set to travel north tomorrow, we may see a decision as early as Friday afternoon.

Scott is preparing as usual and hopes to have Johnny Mullins fit. He told Millersplayer: "There's always a doubt and the forecast isn't terrific either with the temperatures for the next two nights due to be low.

"We should know more after tonight. If you have two or three nights of frost it stays in the ground and it's harder to thaw out, mother nature has a way of making sure that your plans get thrown up in the air.

"We're preparing as normal and the ground staff are doing all they can."

Scott is also expected to be without Gareth Evans again through injury.
