Rotherham land Le Fondre

Rotherham United boss Mark Robins has finally landed Rochdale striker Adam Le Fondre.

The proposed deal appeared to have hit a snag on Sunday but the 22-year-old has now wrapped up his move.

The former Stockport County man scored 20 goals in all competitions for the Spotland-based outfit last season.

He will be hoping to take his form into the Millers' new campaign as he replaces Reuben Reid, who left to join West Bromwich Albion.

Speaking on his move, Le Fondre said: "It was drawn out a little but I am here now and I am looking forward to getting on with playing.

"Rotherham are a progressive club and after what happened following the points deduction last year it was clear that the club were going places.

"I am now looking forward to being a part of it."
