Ronnie hoping to get back in soon.
Former boss Ronnie Moore tells's the 'Tiser that he's missing the action and that the Millers are looking good for promotion. Ronnie left the Millers back in March and is still hoping to get back in the managerial merry-go-round. He told the Advertiser today what he's upto; “I'm doing a little bit for Tranmere just scouting and looking around but there's nothing better than being involved. But you know what it's like, chairman don't get nervous until round about the end of September." “The horrible thing about this job is that you're like a vulture. You're looking to see which teams are struggling and you end up going to the games where they are. I never thought I would ever do that but apparently if you want work, that's what you've got to do. All the managers know because they all do it." “This is the first time in 40 years that I've had a pre-season, so it was hard sat at home watching Sky. Saturday was the first time I've not been at home watching the scores come in. A break can relight your fire, if you like, and get you going. The problem is, when a job becomes available about 70 people want it.” Meanwhile Ronnie reckons the Millers are in good shape to challenge for promotion again; “I know a lot of the players that have come in and they're decent players,” he said. “Saturday was a little hiccup. The club is going in the right direction and I can't see three teams that are going to be much better and definitely there isn't seven, so it's going to be a play-off position and hopefully a promotion going into the new ground and everything will be off and running.”
