Robins retains Reid hopes

Rotherham United boss Mark Robins retains some hope that star striker Reuben Reid will still be at the club next season.

The 20-year-old has been placed on the transfer list after being the subject of a £100,000 bid from the MK Dons.

Robins told the Sheffield Star: "Any club that comes in for him will have to match our valuation; we are not going to be giving someone away.

"We'll see what happens. We'll certainly want the market value for a player who has scored 19 goals. Reid may end up being here for the season."

Reid scored 19 goals in his first season with the Millers, having left Brentford almost exactly a year ago.
