Robins remains optimistic

Rotherham United caretaker manager Mark Robins still believes the Millers can avoid relegation from League One. Robins named a youthful line-up for Saturday's relegation showdown with Brentford and was rewarded with a 1-0 victory. The win failed to lift the Millers off the foot of the table, but despite the Millmoor outfit remaining ten points adrift of safety, Robins claims they can still stave off relegation. "It's a tall order, obviously, but Saturday showed we are still fighting and I saw belief at Brentford that we could still do it," he said. "I am looking for eleven players to go out there and stake a claim for a shirt every week. "There was a surprise or two in Saturday's selection and they gave everything they had. "You want more, you always do, but from the previous week this was chalk and cheese."
