Robins praises hero Cann

17 December 2008 02:40
Rotherham United manager Mark Robins praised goalkeeper Steven Cann after the Millers beat Darlington in a penalty shoot-out to reach the last four of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Cann saved two penalties in the 4-2 shoot-out win against the Quakers to secure a place in the Northern Area Final of the competition where they will meet Scunthorpe United in a two-legged encounter. "Steve did really well, both during the game and in the shoot-out but our lads who took them showed no fear and were positive," said Robins. "It means two games from Wembley, you can almost touch it."
