Rotherham United manager Mark Robins remains in an upbeat mood despite the current gloom enveloping the club.
The Millers have been forced out of their ground and will play their home games at Sheffield's Don Valley Stadium this term, and are likely to start the League Two campaign with a 20-point deduction.
However, former Manchester United striker Robins told the Yorkshire Post: "We might have points deducted but at least the lads know they'll get paid.
"Nobody else can hurt us now. We could sit here and feel sorry for ourselves but we can't afford to do that. We have to come out fighting like Leeds did last season.
"It isn't the players' fault but we now have to deal with what's thrown at us and then try to develop the club."
