Reid close to Millers deal

Rotheram United are close to sealing a deal to keep last season's top scorer Reuben Reid at the club for the long-term.

Twenty-year-old Reid is expected to sign by the end of the week after attracting from League One outfit MK Dons.

Despite having a year left on his current deal, Millers boss Mark Robins was keen to tie the striker down a longer contract.

"I would think by the end of the week it should be resolved," Rotherham chairman Tony Stewart said.

"Reuben's advisors are keen to get something done so the signs are good. We are very close."
