O'Connell signs on youth loan deal

Steve Evans has signed Blackburn youth defender Jack O'Connell until January.

O'Connell, 18, arrives to add defensive cover and can play at left back or as a centre half having signed professional forms back in May of this year at Ewood Park.

He is highly thought of by the Rovers youth set up and has been capped three times by England U19's.
