Nards likely to move on - Evans
After allowing forward Daniel Nardiello to leave on loan over the weekend, boss Steve Evans explains why the deal at Bury is likely to become permanent.
Nards joined the League Two club to team up with Danny Hylton on Friday, and his gaffer expects the January loan agreement to become a permanent fixture.
Evans told BBC Radio Sheffield. "I have never had a bad word with Daniel Nardiello in all my time other than when I have not been happy with his performance or training, which was in the main last season.
"His life has changed a little bit recently. He has got a young baby and at Bury it gives him the opportunity to get a contract beyond the summer and the chance to go and play on a very regular basis.
"Daniel has been maginificent in taking us to where we want to be. I would be surprised if he comes back and plays at Rotherham though. He has got agreements in place with Bury and we have allowed him to move on.
"From his point of view it is a good move, he wants to play football on a regular basis. It was a tough decision, but I am paid by the chairman to make them.
"Let's just wait and see what develops out of Daniel moving on, there will be developments and they will be positive."
