Mullins to make comeback as trialists turn out for reserves

Boss Andy Scott will be at Green Lane this afternoon to watch several trialists and the comeback of defender Johnny Mullins. The Millers second string take on Port Vale at Parkgate, 2pm, with Mullins set to be involved after missing six months with a cruciate knee ligament injury. Scott will also take a look at former Blades and Man City full back Stephen Jordan, as well as one or two others. Jordan has been training with the club fior the past week and has impressed enough to get some game time. The Millers defence is a key area that needs to be improved and Scott was unimpressed after his team threw away a 2-0 and later 3-1 lead at Torquay over the weekend. “We need to be more ruthless as a group defensively,” said the Millers manager. “We have to make sure everyone knows their job and carries them out."
