Moore slams Millers prats

Rotherham United manager Ronnie Moore has blasted the prats who have suggested he has been suspended by the club for his drinking.

Moore has watched his side's last two games from the stands, but insists he has decided not to sit in the dug-out for football reasons.

He said: "People have been telling me these tales that I've been drunk and been suspended but where this rubbish has come from I don't know.

"Some prats have been putting things on the internet, on message boards, supposedly from loyal fans - well, they want to think what they're doing because it's ridiculous to come out with statements like that. It's not true and if it was in the papers I'd sue.

"I was up in the stand on Saturday for football reasons and went up there again last night.

"We won again and, in all, it's three times in the stand (including Barnet in September) and three wins and so I'll happily stay up there until May if necessary."
