Moore makes a case for defence

Leading scorer Adam Le Fondre netted his 26th goal of the season in the second half as the Millers closed the gap on the automatic promotion places to a mere two points after Bury were beaten at Macclesfield. "It was a fantastic performance, any result here is a magnificent result," said Moore. "The back four did well and they might have thought they deserved a draw out of it, but when you defend like we did you've got a chance of winning games. "We kept a clean sheet and when you've got somebody like Alf (Le Fondre), you've always got a chance of winning games if you can keep a clean sheet. "The defending starts at centre-forward too and Alf tucked in late on when we were under the cosh and made a header off the line too. When have you ever seen him do that for us?"
