Ronnie Moore is keen to return to Rotherham United for a second spell as manager.
Moore parted company with Tranmere Rovers in the summer while the Millers are set to start searching for a new boss after Mark Robins agreed to become Barnsley's new manager.
Moore guided United to the Championship during his eight-season spell in charge of the club.
He confirmed: "I've already dropped in my CV. I'm up for the job if they want to give it me.
"I took them to the Championship the last time I was there and, who knows, maybe we can do it all again. I absolutely love the club."
