Moore ends Showunmi chase

Rotherham United boss Ronnie Moore has ended his pursuit of Leeds United striker Enoch Showunmi.

The former Luton Town and Bristol City striker has failed to nail down a regular first team spot at the Elland Road outfit and Moore was keen to add his physical presence at Don Valley Stadium.

However, it has since emerged that the 27-year-old front-man has opted to move elsewhere in the future.

Speaking to The Star, Moore said: "The player wants to stay at Leeds until January and then he wants to go abroad after that, so there is not a great deal we can do."
