Millers wrap up Evans deal

Rotherham have completed the loan signing of Paul Evans from Nottingham Forest and the player will make his debut in the local derby against Barnsley tomorrow.

Millers boss Mick Harford has been on the look out for a new midfielder since loan star Grant Leadbitter picked up a shin injury and was forced to return to Sunderland.

Evans has been training with Rotherham after falling out of favour at Forest and is determined to make the most of the chance to kick-start his career.

"I am delighted to be back playing again and the lads have been very good to me during the last couple of weeks as they have made it very easy for me to settle in here," Evans revealed.

"Now I am just hoping that I can help them to pull away from the wrong end of the table.

"I haven't started a first-team game so far this season and when I first arrived here my fitness was a little behind the other lads but I have worked hard on that aspect.

"So I am feeling good again and I am raring to play."
