Rotherham United have signed West Ham United youngster Joe Widdowson on a month's loan.
The 18-year-old left-back, who has yet to feature in the Hammers first-team, arrives at Millmoor to cover for the loss of Stephen Brogan to a season-ending leg injury.
Millers boss Mark Robins has confirmed that Brogan has had an operation on the leg he broke during the 1-1 draw with Milton Keynes Dons.
He told the Sheffield Star: "I understand it was a clean break and he has had it pinned and is comfortable and now coming to terms with it.
"He's got a strong family unit around him and they'll give him good support. It's going to be a long time, obviously, but Stephen will be back playing."
