Millers take a look at Roberts

Rotherham United are running the rule over former Yeovil Town and Crewe Alexandra midfielder Gary Roberts.

The 22-year-old was released by the Glovers earlier this season due to off-field problems, but Millers boss Ronnie Moore is content to give Roberts a second chance.

He told BBC Radio Sheffield: "He's only 22 but has real talent. He impressed us when he played for our reserves this week. He has a great range of passing.

"When he's up to full fitness he would be a great asset.

"People say he comes with baggage but his attitude has been first-class. I think he deserves a second chance and I hope he takes up our offer."
