Millers star thrilled to be back
Published : 06 May 2009 14:17:17

The 21-year-old defender missed the final two months of the 2007/8 campaign and all bar five minutes of the season just gone due to a double leg fracture sustained at MK Dons in February 2008. Brogan suffered complications after initial surgery to repair the damage, but battled back to step off the substitutes' bench in the 85th minute of Saturday's home defeat to Exeter. Brogan said: "It was an amazing feeling. I had my friends and family watching. It's been a long 15 months and I just want to put it behind me. "Next season my aim is to get back to the standard I was at. I can't wait for next season to start. "My leg still gets a bit stiff, but there's no pain there anymore and I'll be working on that and my overall fitness during the summer to get as fit as everyone else in pre-season."
