Rotherham United have signed former Scotland striker Mark Burchill on a two-year contract.
The 27-year-old frontman has decided to leave Dunfermline Athletic to head back to England, where he previously played for Birmingham City, Ipswich Town, Portsmouth and Wigan Athletic.
Burchill also had a spell at Sheffield Wednesday with current Millers boss Mark Robins, while he spent a month on loan at Rotherham in late 2004.
Burchill told the Sheffield Star: "I knew Mark from my time at Hillsborough and when I knew he had inquired about me I was certainly interested.
"I was out of contract at Dunfermline and could have stayed in Scotland, but Mark's interest helped sway me."
