Millers move for Annerson

Rotherham United boss Mark Robins has moved quickly to find a replacement for the injured Steven Cann by signing Sheffield United's teenage goalkeeper Jamie Annerson. The Millers manager is also reported to be keen to sign a new striker on an emergency loan deal as injuries continue to decimate his squad. Annerson has penned a three-month loan deal with the League Two side after Cann sustained a dislocated shoulder in a reserve team game. The 19-year-old has failed to make a first-team appearance for the Blades although he has been an unused substitute on four occasions.
