Rotherham United insist they will be playing at the Don Valley Stadium next season even though the Football League has cast doubt on the move by saying the club's switch from Millmoor has yet to be sanctioned.
Millers officials have said that their formal application to move will be submitted to the Football League once their administration process has been finalised.
The club's new owner, Tony Stewart, told the Sheffield Star: "I'm happy that everything's in sequence and that the administrator and the solicitor have got things in hand."
The Football League's chief operating office, Andy Williamson, had earlier said: "An application is yet to be made, although the situation is complicated further by the fact that Rotherham United remains in administration and our priority is to establish how the club aims to exit from that position.
"Until then, the club's membership of the League remains suspended."
