Loan deal for Wood confirmed
The Millers have confirmed the loan deal of Brentford wide man Sam Wood, who will stay with the club until January 9th.
25 year-old Wood has found first team chances limited this season and as we reported yesterday, teams up with his old boss Andy Scott.
Wood told the clubs website: "Obviously I haven't really had a look in at Brentford, and I've worked with the gaffer before. There was an injury on Saturday and he got on the case quickly to get me up here.
"I went to Brentford as a left-back, but ended up playing left-midfield and I can play mainly down the left, but can also play wide right as well.
"I want to get as many games as possible in my time here until January. I've seen the way they play; they've got the players to get in the play-offs and even into the automatic places. I'll take every game as it comes, and see how it goes."
