Le Fondre ready for higher level

Adam Le Fondre has won Rotherham's Player of the Season award for a second year running, but warned his future could lie elsewhere. The 24-year-old striker plundered 24 goals in all competitions as the Millers fell short of the play-offs, in what was a disappointing campaign, and he took his overall record to 54 goals in 100 appearances for the club. Those stats have inevitably seen him attract interest from other clubs and although he has one year left to run on his contract at Don Valley, Le Fondre believes he has served his time in League Two."I'm here next season as far as I know. I'm more than happy to be here but I want to play higher and everyone knows that," he told the Advertiser. "It doesn't thrill me playing in this division."I think I deserve to play higher and I think I've done my time in League Two."I've scored goals in this division consistently and if I'm here next season then I'll probably score 25 goals again. We'll just see what happens."
