Hoskins rejects Millers deal

Rotherham United striker Will Hoskins has rejected the offer of a new contract from the League One outfit.

The 20-year-old has netted 13 goals for the Millers this term and manager Alan Knill had hoped to get Hoskins to pledge his long-term future to the club.

However, he told BBC Radio Sheffield: "We've made an offer and I believe his advisers have told him to turn it down, I'm very disappointed.

"What can you do? You try and convince the player that it's best for him, but the ball's now in his court."

Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton has recently confirmed his interest in Hoskins, while a number of other clubs are believed to be monitoring the situation.

Hoskins has been at Millmoor for four years, netting 22 goals in 76 appearances for the Millers.
